The basic extension unit for the majority of macrophoto work. A double cable release permits the stop down to the pre-selected lens aperture at the moment of exposure, while a pre-set lever lets you view the depth of field prior to taking the picture This bellows unit is ideal for use with short barrel macro lenses such as the Zuiko MACRO 80mm f/4.0, and provides automatic diaphragm operation for  lenses so equipped.  See my Other Auctions for this lens.
Using a Zuiko standard lens alone you can only focus as close as 45cm, while with a close-up lens mounted over the standard lens, focus can be extended down to 19cm. To obtain extension sufficient for high magnification macrophoto work, however, extension devices must be fitted between the taking lens and the camera body. The Auto Bellows has an extension range of 36mm – 198mm and is the most versatile extension unit for basic macrophoto work.  Lenses for use may be chosen in accordance with magnification and subject area desired.
