UV Filter
The UV (Ultra-violet) filter cuts
transmission of ultra-violet wavelengths (invisible to the human
eye) and reduces distant haze in pictures. It may also be left on
the lens at all times for protection, regardless of film type in the
camera.
Skylight
The Skylight filter is
particularly effective with color films and was designed to reduce
the blue effect of open shade, overcast days, distant scenery, snow,
etc. As the effect differs with film type, some experimenting may be
required to see which film produces the desired results.
Filter Care
Like Pentax-110 interchangeable
lenses and all other Pentax optical products, Pentax-110 filters are
precision optical products. Always protect them when not in use and
clean them periodically as you would the camera lens. Do not screw
the filter too tightly into the lens as it may be difficult to
remove.
