Pentax-110 Close-Up Lenses
Pentax-110 Close-Up Lenses are
convenient attachments that fit over the front of Pentax-110
interchangeable camera lenses to enable much closer focusing and
higher magnifications than possible with the camera lens alone.
To mount a close-up lens, simply screw it into the filter
threads of the master lens. Exposure is controlled in the normal
manner when a Close-Up Lens is used and no special adjustments
are required. Focusing is performed as normal with the master
lens, but focusing range and magnifications are altered as
indicated in the chart above.
Types and
Sizes
Pentax-110 Close-Up Lenses come
in three basic types and sizes, and each produces different
magnification. The two type "S" Close-Up Lenses are for use with
the Pentax-110 24mm Standard Lens; the "W" type is for use with
the wide-angle lens, and the two type "T" Close-Up Lenses are
for the 50mm telephoto lens. The focal length of each
close-up lens is indicated in centimeters besides the type
designation. For example, the S31 Close-Up Lens has a focal
length of 31cm (310mm); that of the T26 Close-Up Lens is 26cm
(260mm). The shorter the focal length of the close-up lens, the
larger the magnification.
