It goes without saying that this is a very large lens.  So much so that the manufacturer made it to be stored in two major pieces.  Here is how it looks when taken out of the case, and before assembly.  Note the storage on the tripod collar of the rear sight and focus handle.

When assembled and attached to a camera, it can be seen that the fit and finish of this lens are quite good considering it is not from one of the major camera manufacturers.

There is one group of glass in the front half of the lens, and one group in the back.  At a minimum it appears to be 2 elements in 2 groups, but could possibly have multiple elements in one or both groups.

Adding the hood, the front element is well-shaded and protected from flare from direct off-angle light-sources.

The lens is a preset design.  One ring is used to mark the desired aperture setting.  The other ring moves freely to the marked aperture and then stops.  This makes it possible to open the aperture for focusing and close it to shoot without having to look back at the ring.

The lens has sights.  This makes it easier to get the lens aimed at the desired subject.  The front sight is permanently attached.  The rear sight is removable and threads onto a provided opening during assembly.

Naturally a lens this size requires the use of a tripod.  A tripod collar is permanently fitted in a location that provides good balance between the weight of the lens and the weight of a camera.  It also allows rotation of the camera without removing the lens/camera from the tripod.
