The 35~85mm lens is a multi-purpose lens. This is one of the most versatile lenses - good for distant subjects and excellent for close-ups, sporting events, landscapes and portraits. You can shoot from as close as about 4 inches or from long distances, under just about any average light conditions. This lens can take the place of three or four fixed-focal length lenses, making it an economical lens to own. With a little bit of creativity, this lens can produce images possible only with a zoom lens.

Zoom Action & Close-Up
This lens features an automatic diaphragm. The focus can be adjusted separately from the zooming action. Just turn the ring to focus, and push/pull ring to zoom. The calibration on the lens barrel shows the focal length for any zooming position, (but this need not be consulted because optimum picture composition and area can be easily determined through the viewfinder).
