AUTO-EXTENSION TUBE SET
New extension tube set of 3 rings, 95mm
(#1), 19mm (#2) and 28.5mm (#3), with coupled automatic diaphragm
release pins. Mounted singly or in combination between an Asahi Pentax
and a 55mm automatic diaphragm lens, this set of Auto-Extension Tubes
permits focusing at a magnification from 1.17x to 0.17 and operation of
the automatic diaphragm.
By inserting any or all of the extension
tubes between the camera body and the Takumar lens, subjects as close as
3 35/64 inches from the front of the 55mm lens may be photographed. By
adding more extension tubes, close-ups as close as the focal length of
the lens may be easily and simply photographed.
EXTENSION TUBE SET (no auto feature)
The extension tube set consists of 3
rings, #1, #2 and #3 of 9.5mm, 19mm and 28.5mm respectively. They may be
used singly or in combination desired. Ring #1 is suited for moderate
close-up work as in documents. When all three are used simultaneously
with the 55mm lens, the subject may be enlarged on film to a
magnification of 1.04 of the life size. Such extreme close-up
photography is a special advantage of the single lens camera because
there is no parallax problem and you do not need an accessory viewfinder
as is ordinarily required for rangefinder type cameras.
