A note of caution: The Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 1:3.5/24mm rear lens assembly when focused on infinity intersects the reflex mirror path of travel on my DSLR. In order to safely use this lens on my DSLR (it works without any issues on screw-mount Pentax cameras...), I first set the lens to its closest focus, move the DSLR into "live view" mode (mirror is locked up and image is displayed on LCD screen). I may then focus through the full range of focus from closest to infinity viewing on the LCD.  Your results may vary.

The new Super-Takumar 24mm f/3.5 is an ultra-wide-angle lens that increases even further the versatility of your Asahi Pentax. Compact in size and light in weight, it enables you to view and focus at an 84° angle of vision without keeping the reflex mirror flipped up.
